Hoop Houses in Rhode Island: Supporting Growers Who Make It Happen
Rhode Island may be small, but its farming community is mighty. From the rocky soil outside Providence to the gusty fields near the coast, growers here face no shortage of challenges. But they meet them head-on—with grit, creativity, and an unshakable connection to the land.
We’re proud to support Rhode Island farmers by building durable, efficient hoop houses that help them grow longer into the season, protect their crops, and keep doing what they love.
Why Hoop Houses Matter in Rhode Island
Farming near the coast means you’re dealing with shifting weather, salty air, and a shorter growing window than you'd like. That’s where a hoop house in Rhode Island makes all the difference. Whether you're raising vegetables, flowers, or herbs, hoop houses offer a reliable way to take some control back—protecting crops from wind and cold, and stretching your harvest into the shoulder seasons.
We’ve seen firsthand how Rhode Island farmers are using high tunnels to build more resilient businesses, and we’re proud to be part of that story!

Farm Focus: Long Lane Farm
Tucked just outside Providence, Long Lane Farm is a great example of what’s possible when passion meets purpose. Camille and Devin are full-time vegetable farmers and community leaders, running a small but mighty farm that feeds their neighbors and supports other growers.
We had the pleasure of working with them to install three 30x192 high tunnels on their five-acre property. With those hoop houses, they’re now able to harvest fresh produce nine months out of the year. Their CSA, online store, and farm stand keep local families well-fed—and their mentorship helps new farmers get their start.
Camille and Devin remind us why we do this work. They care deeply, farm smart, and share what they’ve learned along the way. We’re honored to be part of their journey.
